Right next to rowing lake. Children competing at rowing event.Rooms very comfortable, quiet, very well equiped
On arrival after a 3 hour drive was told that the hotel restaurant was not available for dinner due to a private function. This was not advised at booking. Was recommended by receptionist to use the adjacent pub restaurant which was overcrowded, extremely noisy with a pubfood menu!. I am not at all happy booking three rooms at a hotel of this standard for a family stay to be told the restaurant is not available Did not wish to eat as a family of four from room service trays on the bed!

Sincerely, it was a really nice stay for two nights. Everything was great and the staff was accommodating. The location of the hotel was incredible, by the lake.

Comfortable rooms, quiet, wonderful location and I really enjoyed sitting on the deck having breakfast.
I was disappointed that the beds were either not made or not made properly and that the tea/coffee tray had not been replenished as it should have. For the price paid, I would also expected a larger room.

I had a lovely honeymoon at the hotel, surpassing my previous stays in peterborough. The comfortable double room featured fine views of the lake, and the staff were attentive to our needs. Breakfast was a delight with fresh pastries that began each day on a high note.
the shower had inconsistent water temperature.

The staff were excellent, the food was pretty good. The view over the rowing lake out the back was amazing. It was nice to sit in the conservatory and eat dinner and watch the sun go down.
The porridge at breakfast was instant porridge in a plastic tub with Golden Syrup as part of the ingredients, they dont tell you its instant and & I don't like Golden Syrup. Other than that, the hotel and staff are spot on!

The bar area was cozy, and we enjoyed the games area with a large-screen TV. Plus, the hotel is close to attractions like Burghley House and the Key Theatre, fun to explore. Keep in mind breakfast choices can be limited, but overall, it's a nice spot to unwind after a day out.

General facilities, inc. Room, quite good.
Restaurant food dissapointing - mainly due to tough chicken. We had a refund on one main meal and staff were very good about it but they need to either change chicken suppliers or change the way it's cooked.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The bar always had someone in which was nice as travelling alone I didn't feel that I was isolated and there was a good atmosphere. I had a lovely view from my room over the lake. The pub next door was handy and served nice food at reasonable prices - again this was busy and had a good atmosphere.
The breakfast selection was a little small.
